Brazil Jazblu Peaberry

This is a classic Brazilian coffee with low acidity, medium body, and a sweet, nutty, chocolate profile. When you just want a sweet chocolatey espresso or latte, this is the perfect coffee.

What is a Peaberry?

A peaberry is a round green coffee bean. Usually, each coffee fruit has 2 seeds facing each other, resulting in each seed having a flat side that we are accustomed to. In about 5% of the fruits, the fruit only produces a single rounded seed, i.e. a peaberry. How this affects the taste is still up for debate, but it does help make roasting just a little easier since it is round and more uniformly (under)sized.
